3 Things You Need to Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Hello, Fools! Welcome to a brand-new week. Here are three things about the local stock market and investing in general that you might be interested in today.

1. The Straits Times Index (SGX: ^STI), finished the day at 3,267.62 points, increasing 8.05 points or 0.25%.

The STI component that gained the most today was UOL Group Limited (SGX: U14). The property developer added 1.25% to S$8.13.

Meanwhile, the biggest loser in the index was Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited (SGX: J36), slipping 2.2% to US$65.60.
