3 Things You Need to Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Great Tuesday evening! Here are three things about the local stock market and investing in general that you might be interested in today.

1. The Straits Times Index (SGX: ^STI), ended the day at 3,327.8 points, edging up by 17 points or 0.5%. The biggest winner in the index was Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (SGX: Y92), closing at S$0.965, up 1.9%. On the other hand, SIA Engineering Company Ltd (SGX: S59) was the STI component that lost the most ground. It came down 4.4% to S$3.87.

3. NetLink NBN Trust (SGX: CJLU), which was the largest initial public offering (IPO) since 2011, finished the day at S$0.805, down 0.6% from its IPO price of S$0.81.
