3 Things You Need To Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Welcome to Monday evening! Here are three things about the Singapore stock market and investing in general that you might want to look at today and over the rest of the week.

1. The annual report is a great place to learn about the important aspects of a company’s business. My colleague Chin Hui Leong had thumbed through StarHub Ltd’s (SGX: CC3) latest annual report and shared some notes on the insights he had picked up. Check them out here.

2. Real estate investment trusts are structured in such a way that they are nearly always in debt. As such, it’s important for investors to get a handle on the financial health of a REIT before they invest in one. What are some of the important things to look at in this regard? Hui Leong had shed some light on the matter earlier today. You can find out more in here.

3. In an aptly titled article called Where To Find Hidden Gems, my fellow Fool David Kuo had recently shared some of his thoughts on how investors can trawl through Singapore’s 700 or so listed stocks to find investment-worthy ones. Here’s the link again!
