3 Things You Need To Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Welcome to Wednesday evening! Here are three things about Singapore’s stock market and investing in general that you might want to look at today and over the rest of the week.

1. Christmas is coming and it is all about the holiday season. If you’ve seen the amount of foot-traffic on Orchard Road this week, wouldn’t you love to own a piece of real estate on that golden road? Thing is, we can. Earlier today, I had taken a look at a number of well-known landmarks on Orchard Road and who their respective owners are. Check out my thoughts in here.

2. Golden Agri-Resources Ltd (SGX: E5H) has been one of the worst performing blue chips these past few years. Can the company be considered a bargain? That’s something my colleague Chong Ser Jing has dug into recently. Click here to find out more.

3. A major deal in the telecommunications industry between Axiata Group Bhd (KLSE:6888.KL) and Nepal’s largest mobile operator Ncell was just announced a few days ago. According to another of my fellow Fools, Lawrence Nga, the deal can actually give us insight into how to value Singapore’s own Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SGX: Z74). Jump in here for more!
