3 Things You Need To Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Welcome to Wednesday evening! Here are three things about Singapore’s stock market and investing in general that you might want to look at today and over the week.

1. The Singapore telecommunications market is dominated by three companies which are all listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. They are namely,  Singapore Telecommunications Limited (SGX: Z74)StarHub Ltd (SGX: CC3), and M1 Ltd (SGX: B2F). All three of them have been consistently paying dividends through the years.  But, which of the three is the best dividend stock? My colleague Chong Ser Jing has dug deep into that recently – join him as he uncovers Singapore’s best telecommunications dividend stock.

2. Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX: S68) had published a column yesterday, warning the market that financial irregularities have appeared in some S-Chips recently. Find out what message Singapore Exchange would like the S-Chips in question to know.

3. Singapore’s stock market barometer is sitting on a loss for the year. It’s never nice to see your stocks in the red, but you should never be too hung up over your losses. My colleague David Kuo had given some great reasons why that’s so.
