3 Things You Need To Know About the Singapore Stock Market Today

Welcome to Friday evening! Here are three things about Singapore’s stock market and investing in general that you might want to look at today and over the weekend.

1. Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SGX: T39) is one of the oldest and most well-known companies in Singapore. Unfortunately, it has been finding it tough to run its newspaper business given a few consecutive years of ad revenue decline. Singapore Press Holdings had recently released its quarterly earnings and my colleague Chin Hui Leong had gone through a webcast of its earnings presentation to pick up some important facts you need to know. Hit the link for more.

2. Do you like growing dividends? I don’t think it’d be easy to find anyone who doesn’t like growing dividends. If you belong to the former camp, another of my fellow Fools, Chong Ser Jing, had just looked at two shares which may have the potential to deliver growing dividends in the future. Find out why that’s so here.

3. Something amazing struck me earlier today: The Motley Fool Singapore’s investing team have a combined investing experience of more than 50 years. What’s even cooler is that Hui Leong himself is responsible for ten of those years. He has been sharing some of the lessons he has picked up in his investing journey so far – jump in here for more.
