3 Companies Paying Dividends Today

There are a few companies that are pencilled in to go ex-dividend today. In other words, you need to own them before today in order to receive their dividends. Let’s take a look at three of them.

1. GRP Limited (SGX: G18)

 The company, which has three main operations as a hose and marine specialist, supplying of measuring instruments and manufacturing of uPVC pipes and fittings, is paying 1.0 Singapore cent per ordinary share for the full year of 2013.

 For the full year, the revenue decreased by 2.3% to S$27.8 million and the net profit declined 29.6% to S$2.9 million.     

 The shares closed at $0.126 on Tuesday. It is trading at a historical PE ratio of 25 and the dividend yield is at 4%.  

 2. Singapore Airlines Limited (SGX: C6L)

Our national flag carrier, Singapore Airlines, is dishing out 10.0 Singapore cents per ordinary share for the second quarter of 2014.

 For the first half, the revenue grew by 2.2% to S$6.4 billion and the net profit ballooned 68% to S$282.4 million.

 The shares last traded at $10.37 on Tuesday. The company is trading at a historical PE ratio of 32.2 and has a dividend yield of 2.2%.  

 3. Tat Hong Holdings (SGX: T03)

 Tat Hong Holdings, a huge crane company, is giving out 7.0 Singapore cents per ordinary share for second quarter of 2014.  

 For the latest quarter, the company saw a 14% decline in revenue to S$185.3 million, with the net profit plunging 53% to S$8.2 million.

 The company closed at $0.925 on Tuesday. It is trading at a historical PE ratio of 8.3 and has a dividend yield of 4.3%.
